A very rainy day...

On Sunday we went down to New Albany for Gavin's 1st Birthday party. The party was at a park. We had a good time, but it was a little chilly and very rainy so we did not get to enjoy much that was not under the cover of the shelter house.

As always, Ethan loved spending time with Logan.

Allison and a very proud Great Grandpa!

All bundled up....

The rainy weather did not dampen Allison's spirits!

Happy Baby!

In addition to smiling more and more, Alli is starting to coo and enjoy looking at her toys. She spent a very happy 45 minutes in her bouncy seat last night!

2 Months Old!

Believe it or not, Allison will be 9 weeks old tomorrow! How time flies! We took to the doctor for her check-up on Saturday and she weighed in at a heafty 10lbs 4oz and 21 inches long. She is staying awake for longer periods of time and is smiling more and more! Allison's cousin, Logan, helped me caputre some of these smiles.

Unfortunetly, the smiles do not always last very long....

Thankfully, everyone around here seems to be feeling better. Alli has gotten over her cold and has started to sleep better. The exception being last Friday when she screamed all night long! Ethan has also recovered from his cold and has been a much happier little boy for the last week. Other than that, we have just been keeping busy and enjoying the great weather. Scott should be done with his doctorate in the next month and a half....we can't wait

Horray for Warm Weather!

Ethan got his belated birthday/Christmas present from his Lawrance Grandparents last night...an outdoor climber! Dad got it put together and Ethan loved it! Mom is also really excited to have something to help him expend his energy in our own backyard!

GO BUTLER!!!

What a week!

What a week! Butler advanced to the Final 4, the temp got above 80 on the first day of April, and we have two sick kiddos! It has been a big week in the Lawrance household(s). Needless to say, all are very excited about Butler. Scott volunteered to help with drug testing for the Final 4 months ago and at the time was excited that we would get to be in Lucas Oil for the games...but to be present for Butler's trip was a dream come true. Unfortunetly, he found out a couple days ago that they do not need him. He is very disappointed!

Dad was happy to watch Butler play in the Sweet Sixteen with both kids!
Grandpa got to watch Butler in the Elite Eight with Josh and Alli!
As I mentioned, we have two sick kids. Alli has not been sleeping well for the past week or so and Tuesday I broke down and took her to the pediatrician. They confirmed that she does have a cold and it will just have to run its course. However, the sleepless nights are a little easier to handle knowing that there is a reason for them. Yesterday Ethan came down with the same thing, only a bit worse. So far he is still sleeping fairly well, he is just a bit cranky. The one bright side of our trip to the doctor was we got to weigh Alli...she is 9lbs 10oz!!!! What a big girl!
We went to the zoo yesterday with Grandma Pearl and Logan, who turned 9 on Monday!!!! I can't believe he is 9! Ethan loves his big cousin and was thrilled to have him around. He stuck to Logan like glue the entire day. He did not want to hold mommy or grandma's hand, he wanted to hold Logans!
