He found the cabinet!

Ethan's now found the cabinet where we keep all the plastic containers and boy did he love playing with them!

Boy's Day Out

Today Megan and Kristy had a girl's day so Ethan, Uncle Ken, and I all went to the Butler basketball game this afternoon. Everyone loved Ethan in his Butler hat. He did great overall but it took the first half for him to warm up to his surroundings. We sat with my Uncle Mark and cousin Joe for another Butler victory...we beat IUSB 87-32.

After the game, we were able to go out onto the floor (as is tradition for all the little kids at Hinkle) and play a little...

Ethan even got in his first steps on the basketball floor...Hopefully with any luck we'll be watching him play there someday as a Butler Bulldog!

Newest Bedtime Trick!

We found Ethan the other morning standing in his crib and jumping up and down. Just a few steps away from his dad's infamous record.

Party Time!!!!

Today is Ethan's First Birthday! Right about now (6:35pm) one year ago they were just beginning the c-section and Ethan would make his entrance into the world in about 19 minutes!

We had a house full of people today to celebrate with us. Everyone had a great time, including Ethan. He really enjoyed his first cake as well as the presents. He has not had much time to play with them yet because right after everyone left he went down for a nap and slept for a little over two hours! Below are a few pics, but more are posted under the Photos link. Enjoy!

On the Move!

Ethan is on the move! He cruises around in his walker...

Walks along all of the furniture...

And pushes his toys! He will be walking before we know it!

Ethan's First Birthday Gift!

Ethan will be 1-year-old in one week! Last weekend, his Grandma and Grandpa Lawrance stopped by on their way to Flordia and he got to unwrap his first gift. Needless to say, he enjoyed the whole experience. He enjoyed tearing the paper and he loves the gift, too!

Like any typical kid, he loves to play with the box!
