All grown up!
Here is our big boy these days! He won't hold still long enough for us to take a picture of him lying on the couch and as you can see (barely in his right hand) he loves to play with the remote! This picture was taken after we got home from the doctor. They pricked his finger to check his iron levels and then wrapped his hand up like a little boxer to keep it from bleeding everywhere. He didn't like the prick one bit, but after we were home he couldn't have cared less about the bandage!

Boy's Day Out
Newest Bedtime Trick!
We found Ethan the other morning standing in his crib and jumping up and down. Just a few steps away from his dad's infamous record.

11mo height and weight checks
I've been keeping track of his progress on this website and it's really neat (I think!) to see how both his weight and height have progressed since he was born. The first chart is his weight and the bottom chart is his height.

Vacation!
While at Myrtle Beach we visited the Ripley's Aquarium. Scott and I called it our scuba trip! My favorite part was their "Ray Bay." They have a large tank of all different types of rays and a few small sharks that is attached to a shallow touch pool where you are allowed to pet any of the rays that come close enough. I said the chant Kristy and I were taught by Carlos in Belize..."Eagle ray, eagle ray, eagle ray," and it worked! I got to pet an eagle ray several times as it swam by. (I would have included the second part of the chant, "Turtle, turtle, turtle," but seeing as that there were no turtles in the tank I did not think it would work very well.)
On our way home we stayed one night in Cherokee, North Carolina and then spent a little bit of time in the Smokey National Park.
