Today my parents arrived back in Indiana from Florida. Each year they spend 2-3 weeks in Siesta Key unwinding from the long summer season at the resort. They typically leave the first weekend in November and then return for Thanksgiving. Since our original due date was December 4th, we all figured they would have enough time to be here when Megan went into labor. Because of the way things happened, they were unable to be here when Ethan was born.
They were anxious to see our little guy and ended up spending the afternoon with us. Both Mom and Dad were amazed at how small Ethan really was since they had seen only pictures. They were able to spend some quality time with Ethan and hung around long enough to see Ethan actually awake for a short time.
