Back to Work!
Well, maternity leave is finally over...I have been back to work for two weeks now. This also means Ethan has been at daycare for two weeks now. From what I hear, he has adjusted very well. The ladies at his daycare tell me that he spends a good portion of the day happy and talking to staff members and other babies. Mom is adjusting, as well. The first few days of daycare were really tough, but it is getting a little easier. Work itself hasn't been too bad either. We are all (dad included) adjusting to a new schedule and a new routine!

Sick....boo hoo! Weight update!
The Lawrance household is feeling a little under the weather. We think that Ethan brought home his first cold bug from daycare and its spread through the house. Megan has taken the worse of it and hasn't felt good all week. I've been fighting it off, but still am congested and have a sore throat.
Poor Ethan has been really congested but otherwise seems to be doing alright. We were instructed to use saline drops for his nose and children's Benadryl to help dry him out which has helped some. Megan took him into the doctor yesterday and the good news is that he has not developed any issues with his lungs or ears, but if he continues to be congested next week, we'll probably get an antibiotic to help things out a little better.
The good news is that Ethan continues to gain weight and was measured at 9 pounds, 6 oz! That measurement was in his sleeper, so he's probably a little less, but still way up from the 7 pounds, 10 oz he was last month. He's still in the 5th percentile growth wise, but is growing at a fast rate right now and probably next month will be closer to the 10th.
